This document summarizes the work of a campus ministry in reaching and discipling thousands of college students in Wisconsin. It describes how the ministry focused on evangelism through large outreach events and building community, helped students develop in their faith through worship and teaching, and encouraged discipleship by training students to lead their own small groups and missions trips. The conclusion thanks supporters for making the ministry's impact possible through their prayers and financial backing.

1. Changed Lives
Looking back to see how your prayers
and financial support changed the lives
of thousands of college students.

2. We left a full time ministry position,
because we saw college campuses full
of students who had no idea about the
hope they could find in Jesus.

3. And we saw the need that students
had to understand their sin and the
Savior who came to save them from it

4. We raised support in churches and in
the homes of friends.

5. We joined a great team to reach the
college students of Wisconsin

6. And we focused on:
Reaching students (Evangelism)
Helping students belong (Community)
Helping students believe (Worship)
Helping students become (Discipleship)
And sending students out (Ministry)

7. Evangelism and Community

8. Our March 4th outreach, that reached
over 4200, held right on the college
campus (featuring
Skillet, Superchick, Flame and Nick
Hall)!

9. Connecting with students right when
they get to campus by helping them
move into their dorm rooms.

10. We connected with students by
providing free mocha frappucinos
during the first week of school, and
connected with hundreds!

11. We invited students to do fun
events with us like go on hayrides
to create relational evangelism

12. We participated in forums like
‘Crossing Boundaries’, where
Christians and Atheists would have a
roundtable about faith in front of
hundreds of college students!

13. Worship and Teaching

14. We provided multiple venues for
worship

15. We taught in large gatherings as
well as more personal seminars.

16. We even held services in summer, when
school wasn’t in session, and focused on
teaching leadership and theology.

17. We taught newly saved/seeking
students about God through the
Alpha Course.

18. We helped launch a campus ministry at
nearby Lawrence University

19. And taught at other young adult
groups, youth
retreats/camps/conventions about
missions

20. We also took students to gatherings
with thousands of other Chi Alpha
students, like The World Missions
Summit

21. Discipleship and Sending Ministry

baptism, and got the chance to baptize
students!

You’ll notice some of the same students in
almost every picture. That’s because we
allow student leaders to baptize the students
they’ve discipled!

27. The best part was doing baptisms in
such a public way, and having the
whole Converge family come to
support.

28. We provided opportunities for
students to participate in the other
ordinance of Communion on a
regular basis.

29. We involved students in helping raise
support/awareness for missionaries

30. We saw students start to lead their
own small groups, helping to reach
over 12 dorms

31. We saw students pray for friends and
lead their friends to Christ

32. We took students on missions trips all
around the world

33. We trained up and sent some off to do
missions work of their own

34. And even got to do weddings!

work, we could not have done it
