REFERENCES
“Dr. Daniel Gilbert is one of the finest of our Regent University alumni. Danny and his wife were with us during the
time I served as President so I had many opportunities to observe him as a scholar, student, husband and fellow
Christian. I found him to be deeply committed to the essentials of faith and family in every dimension of his personal
and professional life. He demonstrates a mature personal faith that expresses itself in care and concern for his
students, colleagues, friends and fellow sojourners. I have no reservations in enthusiastically recommending him for
your consideration.”

“As a teacher, pastor and administrator, Danny has now established an impressive record of experience in several
institutions and ministerial contexts. He has strong pedagogical and inter-personal skills that enable him to relate well
to students both inside and outside the classroom. Now ready for a fresh challenge, I believe that he will make a strong
contribution wherever he is engaged.”

“Daniel is a man who is pure in heart, compassionate by nature, a faithful husband and father, and one who has a deep
relationship with the Lord. He is at ease with students, is an excellent communicator, and has a great passion for
teaching theology and church history. Also, his interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all people make him
a strong team player. Incidentally, I have read several of his unpublished works, including his Ph.D. thesis, and
believe he has the ability to do exceptional scholarly work.”
