The evolvement of the mobile population in Vietnam
As in the 1st quarter of 2010, Vietnam has
more than 117,9 mil mobile users (22% up in
comparison to the same period last year).
(General Statistics Office – April 2010)
By 2010, Vietnam has 7 operators in mobile
phone service. With the landing of 3G facilities
& incoming investment of other world-wide
operators.

Overview on Mobile survey system
The mobile survey system (MSS) have following features:
•Web-based application : easily to access anywhere, anytime with an Internet
connection.
•Survey Management : easy to create your surveys, coding answers for each event.
•Accounts setting: setting up Admin/User accounts with specific rules and rights.
•Time setting: setting the effective time for every survey.
•SMS Messenger: sending SMS out with Brand Name “ABC”.
•SMS Auto – Report: automatically record every SMS in or out of the system. Can be
sorted by date or by the name of survey.

Survey Management
Step 1: Creating survey name
To avoid confusion and conflict between surveys, each survey should be named
with specific meaning and different characters from others.
Ex : DrThanh-Survey1; Xmen-Survey2 etc
Step 2: Setting survey question & answer code
Ex:
•Question (send by SMS to responders, limited in 160 characters – including
spaces) : “Have you ever used Dr Thanh product?Text NLS 1:Yes.NLS
2:No.Send to 8004 to receive your reward.Thank you”
•Answer code: the Users must clearly set up the code for the answers: “1” for
Yes. “2” for No. The system will automatically sort the answers of reponders into
categories & send SMS back to responders.

Survey Management
Step 3: Set up effective time for each survey
Since some survey may use the same answer code from customers. Users need
to set up effective time for the answer code of each survey, in order to prevent
such conflicts. All answers come sooner or later than the effective time might be
invalid.
Ex:
-Survey name: Dr Thanh survey.
-Question : Have you ever used DrThanh product?
-Answer code:
+ NLS 1 : Yes
+ NLS 2 : No
-Effective time from 0h00 1.5.2010 to 23h59 31.5.2010.
-Answers fall out of the designated time, will be sorted as invalid answers.
