About UED-IPL ULD conference, Brno, 10 Feb. 2011 Campus 1 - Leiria School of Education and Social Sciences Campus 2 - Leiria School of Technology and Management School of Health Sciences Campus 5 – Leiria Distance Learning Unit Learning Unit for Technological Specialisation Courses Training Center for Actives Campus 3 - Caldas da Rainha School of Fine Arts and Design Campus 4 - Peniche School of Tourism and Maritime Technology The academic community of IPL integrates about 11,500 students, 885 teachers and 314 technical and administrative staff  (in 5 higher education schools). In total, 62 undergraduate degree courses are offered (day classes, night classes and distance learning), 40 masters degree courses and 18 post-graduate courses.

Components implementation Module description EU4ALL local plugin.  This is the base component of the module and contains the libraries to communicate with the EU4ALL repositories. Course activity.  The adaptable plugin, a course activity used to associate the course resources, send that information to the EU4ALL metadata repository and retrieve the resource that should be presented to the user when requested. Course format.  Format is a Moodle component that specifies the internal structure of a course and how the course resources should appear. Moodle capabilities  are a smart way to control the permissions within a Moodle instance (allow or deny access to specific features). Components implementation Requirements This module was developed over a LAMP environment using Moodle 2.0.1 and should work on this environment Hardware Requirements There are no specific hardware requirements for this module in addition to those required for Moodle 2. Software Requirements A workable installation of Moodle 2 PHP soap client extension is required for the module to function properly A system account with file system write permissions to copy the module files to the destination system Network access to the EU4ALL service endpoints is also required Any standards browser: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
