Philo T. Farnsworth invented television in the 1920s and 1930s. He was born in 1906 in Utah and moved to Idaho at age 11, where he began developing ideas for television while still in high school. Farnsworth's first successful television transmission occurred on September 7, 1927, and he received the first patent for television in 1930. He is considered a pioneer in the development of television technology.
