Wepersonallybelievethatwefellshortinacoupleofcategoriesthatdetractedfromtheaudienceexperiencewewishedtodeliver.ThesewerespecificallyTransport, OffStageProduction,PartnerRelationsandTimeManagement. 
Transport–WehadalwaysplannedtoprovidebusesforouraudiencebutchosetorelyonourMobilityPartnerUberaswell.Theexperiencewasn’tperfectbecausetherewereafewlogisticalissueswiththearrivalofthebuses.Furthermore,Ubercouponsonlyprovided1freeridewhichwascontrarytoourunderstandingof2freerideswiththem.Thiswascompletelyunexpectedbutwe’vedecidedtorectifytheseissuesbyworkingwithastrongerproductionpartnerforthenexteditionandensuringthatallconsumerfacingpartnershipsarebackedwithaServiceLevelAgreementoravoidedaltogether.Thusweapologizeforanyinconvenienceyoumayhavefaced.
OffStageProduction–WewantedtoprovideasclosetoaTEDlikeexperienceaspossibleandacriticalcomponentinthisendeavorweretheExperienceZonesandInteractiveInstallations.However,wefeelthatthisyeartheproductionqualitywasn’tquiteuptoourstandardsandagainhopetoresolvethisissuebyworkingwithastrongerproductionpartner.Thiswouldthenallowustofocussolelyoncuratingspeakersandexperienceswhichwillinspireandexciteouraudience. 
PartnerRelations–OurpartnersarethebackboneofTEDxBangaloreandwearefortunatetohavegarneredsupportfromsomanywonderfulorganizationsinoureffortstoinspirethiscity.However,wewerealsoletdownbyafewofourpartners.ThesewerenamelyIdea, Uber,ChaiPointandtheAccorGroup.Eachofthemhadcriticalresponsibilitiessuchasprintingcollateral, transportingattendees,servingrefreshmentsandhostingspeakers.Theirchoicestoweighcostsoverbenefits,succumbtointernalpoliticsandexploitthe
timesensitivenatureoftheirtaskswasdeeplyhurtfulbecausetheyultimatelypreventedusfromdeliveringthememorableexperiencewewanted.We’velearntalotfromthisandwillensurethatthisneverreoccurs. 
TimeManagement–WerespectthefactthateveryonewhochosetojoinusforTEDxBangaloremadeaninvestmentoftheirtimeandenergy.Thusalleventdaydelaysweretreatedagreatdealofseriousnessthoughwedidpartiallymakeupforittowardstheendoftheday.Wewillbeincorporatingthisexperienceintoourprogrammingforthenexteditionandhopetobemoreeffectiveinthisregardinthefuture.

WearecompletelycommittedtobringingTEDxBangalorebacktoourcityinaBIGwayin2015andwillbereleasingmoreconcreteinformationaboutthisin thecomingfewmonths.Theteamhasalreadyinvestedasignificantamountoftimeintodeconstructingthepasteditionbecausewewanttoexceedtheexpectationsofallourstakeholders–speakers, audience,partnersandsponsors.
