This document outlines a business plan for a new product called a "Tecno bag" - an electronic bag with features like a small touchscreen, Android operating system, and ability to carry up to 8kg of items. The summary includes:
The bag would be targeted at children and adults who want a bag that can carry items and provide electronic functions like maps. Initial sales would take place in a kiosk near a school with the goal of selling 100 bags in 3 months. Key competitors identified are larger electronics retailers MediaMarkt and PCBOX who have more resources and product lines. The plan details costs, potential co-workers, and a SWOT analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

There’s a lot of speculation about open source product development. How can a product with “no IP” be competitive? What are the viable business models, when the code is freely available? And how am I supposed to build and take a viable product to market if my open source company is focused on services, not products?
The truth is, you can build — and successfully take to market — an open source product. But the rules are different, and must not be ignored. Product development is guided by different goals. Business models are based on different value propositions. And open source communities must be considered partners in the effort, not detractors or nay-sayers.
This talk will focus on three areas of open source products: product development, go-to-market strategy, and balancing product and services work. We’ll look at examples of open source products who have threaded the needle and “made it,” as well as a few that have crashed and burned. Most importantly, we’ll offer clear tips and guidance for those considering building or marketing an open source product.
Over the last two years we have had several discussions with our clients about IoT and wearable projects, some more advanced than others. However, many of these projects never happen and there is a pattern emerging around why organisations are struggling to get these projects off the ground. In this talk I will share our experiences and the patterns we have seen, along with some key considerations for us on how to more effectively package these projects if we really want to do them.

analysis of why we are entering into an era where art and picture framing is a lucrative business opportunity and how our disruptive concepts and innovations are giving us a unique competitive advantage
Some of our key accessibility ideas are back to front. The most important aspect of the accessibility of images isn't 'alt-text'. The number of disabled people who use assistive technologies is tiny compared with those who don't. And for many people video is more accessible than text, not less accessible.
In this CSUN 2014 talk, Professor Jonathan Hassell exposes 16 foundational things that all advocates “know” about accessibility as myths, using real user-research to show how they need to be replaced to properly serve today’s tablet and mobile-obsessed disabled and older users.

As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
Generating a custom Ruby SDK for your web service or Rails API using Smithyg2nightmarescribd
Have you ever wanted a Ruby client API to communicate with your web service? Smithy is a protocol-agnostic language for defining services and SDKs. Smithy Ruby is an implementation of Smithy that generates a Ruby SDK using a Smithy model. In this talk, we will explore Smithy and Smithy Ruby to learn how to generate custom feature-rich SDKs that can communicate with any web service, such as a Rails JSON API.
3. Description
• Tecno bag will be a bag, but this bag will have all
electronicts gadgets like a mobile phone or a tablet, it´s
powered by Android, It will have a small screen like 8x8, it
will be so weakness, so you must be careful, it will be
tactile.
• But this bag can´t transport a lot of books or other things,
the maximum weight that can bear it´s like 8 kilos, it´s not
very useful for carrying things, you can personalize it
whatever you want, when you ask for it you can choose your
design.
5. Target Audience
•
This bag hasnt got a special addressee, it should be for all
people, specially for people who haven´t got a very good
orentation, you can transport things and also, if you paid for
wifi, you can download a map, so you know where you are. I
think that the old people won´t need this bag, they don´t know
a lot of about technology.
• If will be for children and adults, children will have fun and they
can also have there their things, and they adults will transport
things too, and they can use it for many other things if they
need it.
7. Localitation
• We will start, in a quioske, near a school, if in
this shop will have éxito, we will open our own
shop
• Our own shop will be near a school or near a
informatic shop, we could do a franchise with
other shop that sell same things or we can
make publicity with the money recollectedd
• If this will have a lots of sells, we will open
three more shops and we will also colaborate
with other companys that sell same things in
Spain we will put it MediaMark and in Micro
Tecnology Consultancy ltd
8. Sales
• First we will pay something to another shop in
order that they put our product there for a time,
for getting some money
• If we get the required money we will open our
own shop in this localitations:
- Puerto Venecia (at least as a franchise)
- Near some schools ( Duquesa VillaHermosa)
- And near others tecnologic shops.
10. Cost Analysis
•
Start-up cost: around 9500 EUR for the montage ( 7.500 to make
the idea and the other 2.000 for installing in other´s shop
• Fixed Cost/month: around 1.500 Eur for keep it in the shop +
personal shop problems 1.000 ( 2.500)
• Variable Cost: the price for the bag will be 185 Eur, but it doesn´t
get many purchases i will reduce the price until 160, if you purchase
it in Internet ( if it success) the 185 more the postage and handling
like 30 ( depending of the distance)
• Break-Even-Point: I start with my own money 5.000 EUR, but the
Break-Even-Point
idea it costs me 12.000 EUR, so i have to ask a lending of 7.000
EUR so im going to finance for 20 years, and if the sells are good i
can amortize that money.
11. Goal for sales
• 100 tecno-bags/
In three months ( like 2 bags every week)
= It will be like 6.000 Eur
13. Co-Workers
•
Concept will be improve tecnology and invent something new,
so the principal co-workers will people interested in tecnology
and and people that want to gain some money
• Where can i find them?
- Tecnologic Shops, I can speak with some salesman ( who
knows about this) and offer them something
- Manager of games, this people knows a lot of about tecnology,
so they maybe can help to orientate myself
- In Youtube, the people who´s in youtube, knows a little about
this so they maybe will give some although a bit ideas
About the average wage of this Co-Workers, the first i will give
them between 5-200 Eur depending of their help, if the idea
have success if they want i will contract them and i will pay
them something.
15. SWOT-Analysis
Strengths:
-Internet and Applications
-Own and a nice design
-Tactile
-Very Modern
Opportunities:
-Someone famous will make of my
idea publicity
-A man that knows a lot about
this help me
- Tecnology is usally very famous
Weakness
-So hard to be maken
-A lot of money
-No many people want a rent
-At first there will be only
like 2 tecno-bags ( few products)
-It takes too long to make
Threats:
-If someone hear this, he will
take my idea
-Tecnology has a great
competition
16. SWOT-Analysis
• The first thing, its that i wont be the main
owner, because i will need help, but i will
be able to take a loan ( initial) for
desarrollating it
• I will also have the possibility of have an
innterview on TV, paying something, or i
can ask for some money to friends or to
others
18. Competitor I: MediaMarkt
• It has a lot of clients and its so big, and i will also like
their design
• They have a lot of things of tecnology: games,PC, TV´s
lots of things, and they have a low price
• If the know about my idea they will take it and, they just
have to improve my idea, and they will make a lot of
because they have a lots of workers and money
19. Competitor II: PCBOX
• Its only about Pc´s, tablets, phones and things
related with pc´s ( mouse etc) so if will give a very
high competition
• All his tecnology is from very high tecnology, and
mine will be very singular
• Its not very big, but they have more than one shop
