Installation Cost High installation cost because hardware
needs and labor cost
No cost
Infrastructure Cost High infrastructure cost required to build
a reliable data center
No cost
Ownership Own Rent
Business Continuity Need to be designed and purchase all
servers, storage, and network.
Built-in features of the cloud.

Editor's Notes
-Oracle cost for redundancy is about $25,000, with 2 consultants for Best Buy.
You can replicate all this functionality on premises although it would be extremely expensive.
-Data centers for clouds are now more 100% green energy. Using solar, wind energy.
-Just removing all the servers from your on premise it's making the earth greener.
-Adoptions rates of 57% on a yearly basis
Explain that is a very simple system move from on premise to cloud. This will requires that the systems are stop on the on premise. A much more different architecture will be required for other scenarios.
Step 1 - Explain app. Talk about the HR Orange application and its business function running on premise. Navigate through the application. Usually it requires 5 servers, 1 load balancers 2 servers for applications and 2 servers for databases. Simulating running on my machine with 1 server.
Step 2 - Backup SMS. Image creation using a tool. To backup the entire application and databases. Simulate the image because it will take about 1 hours to image the entire database. Start the image but don’t wait for the image creation. Explain what is image creation.
Step 3 - Start server.
Step 4 - Login from Cloud.
Step 5 - Drop server and demonstrate failure
Step 6 - Setup load balance
Step 7 - Demonstrate redundancy
