INTRODUCTION
In today's era web Technology can be easily define by the
user in different descriptive way. But matter in fact many user are
quite unknown to the information that from where the www was
coined first. As this paper state the evolution of web so it is
important to initiate the story from the beginning where it was
stated first.
This paper is structured in such a way that, classifying

characteristics of web 2.0 with added different dimensions of the
web 3.0 semantic frameworks, whilst it's scope is directed to
explore a stronger appreciation into architectural foundations of
the next generation of web 4.0 of web applications. In sum, the
paper presents a holistic view of the world wide web.

World Wide Web (www)
The wold wide web is a system of interlinked hypertext
documents accessed via the internet. With a web browser, once
can view web pages that may contain text, image , videos and
other multimedia and navigate between them via hyperlinks. On
March 12,1989, Tim Berners-Lee, a British computer scientist and
former CERN employee, wrote a proposal for what would
eventually become the world wide web. The proposal was meant
for a more effective CERN communication system but
Berners-Lee eventually realized the concept could be
implemented throughout the world. Berners-Lee and Belgian
computer scientist Robert Cailliau proposed in 1990 to use
hypertext "to link and access information of various kinds as a
web of nodes in which user can browse at will”.In these ways the
first web service was designed and tested and latterly confined as

world wide web.
Web 4.0 and Future Web
Web 4.0 can be considered as an ultra intelligent electronic agent,
symbiotic web and ubiquitous web. Interaction between humans
machines in symbiosis was motive behind of the symbiotic web.
powerful as human brain, progress in the development of tele
communication, advancements on nanotechnology in the world
and controlled interfaces using web 4.0. In simple words,
machines would be clever on reading the contents of the web,
and react in the from of executing and deciding what to execute
first to load the websites fast with superior quality and
performance and build more commanding interfaces.

Web 4.0 will be read write concurrency web. It ensure global
transparency,governance , distribution, participation,
collaboration into key communities such as industry, political,
social and other communities. Web OS will be such as a
midleware in which will start functioning like an operating system.
Web OS will be parallel to the human brain and implies a massive
web of highly intelligent interactions.
Characteristics of web 4.0
● Web 4.0 is known as the symbiotic web. The purpose of
the symbiotic web is the symbiotic interaction between
man and machine will blur.
6
7
● This web environment must there an "always
on”connected world.users can meet on the web.
● The new web is a web OS the whole web is a single
operating system with information flowing from every
point to another system.
● It communicates with users in the same way that
people communicate with each other.
● Web 4.0 is an open, linked and intelligent web.
● The speed and reliability of web 4 are greater than ever.

The requirements for web4.0 are ubiquity, identify and
connection. Three Is no real definition for the new web yet.
Web 4.0 is the internet of people
As web 4.0 matures,it will create new symbiotic relationship
between humans and machines. The rise of web 4.0 human
machine connectivity has already begun. Alarm system and cable
companies are two different providers, but linked they work to
your advantage. Consumers can therefore access low-cost
security solutions using existing broadband connections and low -
cost web cameras.

Conclusion
This paper provided an overview from the evolution of the web.
The charectristics of the generations are introduced and
compared . It is concluded web at an information space has had
much progress since 1989 and it is moving toward using artificial
intelligent techniques to be as a massive web of highly intelligent
interactions in close future.
