The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the traditional classroom setting in the Philippines, forcing educators to integrate more technology into distance learning. Teachers explored both low-bandwidth options like Facebook and Messenger as well as high-bandwidth tools like Google Classroom and online simulations. While technology opened new opportunities for instruction, teachers also had to consider limitations among learners like poor internet access. Ultimately, effective distance learning depends on teachers' creativity in delivery and maintaining a human connection with students, as technology alone cannot replace the role of a caring educator.
