new technology.

Mobile Phones
Mobile phones have come long way from an enormous $3,995 heavy brick to
present devices.
The first call was made from a mobile phone was made 40 years ago.
Alexander Graham Bell invented telephone in 1878.
Where as Motorola developed the First mobile phone in 1973
It was Martin Cooper who placed the first call at
AT&T Bells Labs from the
streets of New York.

The Phone weighed under 5 kgs and is world‘s one of the first transportable

introduced.

What made it different was the slider‘ form factor.
It was made to protect the keypad when kept in pocket and could
downslide when in use.

Communicator came out.
The very first product of the communicator series from Nokia.
A brand name in the series of business optimized mobile phones.
On the outside, it appears just like a normal phone & open in clamshell
to access the QWERTY keyboard.

featuring the Snake Game.
EVERYONE had these!
It had a face plate which allowed users to customize their mobile phone.
Now mobile phones were not limited to just communication, they were
more about fashion now.

The Guardian fashion editor loved it and it won the 'Off the Cuff' (Fashion)
Accessory of the Year Award 1998.
Nokia had jumped on a trend that started in the mobile phone accessories
market.
People were buying new covers for old phones
In 2002 – RIM BlackBerry
5810 came into the Market.
They were data-only devices, used by professionals, like
lawyers, who needed constant access to their e-mail. This was the first
BlackBerry to feature a built-in phone.
Alas, the device lacked a speaker and a microphone, so
you had to use a headset to make calls.

Razr V3
One of the thinnest clamshell phones in the world! Half an inch thin ,
the Motorola flip phone looks and feels absolutely amazing. The
Razr(pronounced "razor") was the coolest-looking phone.

out.
This phone completely changed the definition of a Smartphone.

Then came the integrated circuit technology which had reduced the

(1971-Present)
It took 55 years for the 4 generations to evolve.
1971, Intel created the first microprocessor.
1976, Steve Jobs built the first Apple computer.
1981, IBM introduces its first personal computer.
During the fourth generations hardware technology
such as silicone chips, microprocessor and storage
devices were invented.
A microprocessor specialized chip which is developed for computer
memory and logic.

(Present & Beyond)
Are technologies more advance and still being developed so that it is
more efficient .
The fifth generation computers are such as :
Silicone chips, Processor, Robotics ,Virtual reality, Intelligent systems and
Programs which translate languages
New Era computers
The technology of computers are more advance, sophisticated and modern.
