Instagram and Netflix continue growing rapidly and are now among the top 10 apps based on reach in the Netherlands. Traditional TV players like NPO and new entrants like VICELAND are mentioned. Millennials watch 3 hours more online video daily than those aged 55+. Cinema visits increased in Q1 2017 while radio stations 3FM and BNR lost market share. Instagram saw the largest increase in active users while WhatsApp and Facebook also grew.

**Please note this presentation was developed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, so although we don’t address it directly, we do speak to the innovations and solutions that exist beyond it. We hope this knowledge opens a window of hope and possibility to what awaits us on the road ahead.

Instagram and Netflix continue growing rapidly and are now among the top 10 apps based on reach in the Netherlands. Traditional TV players like NPO and new entrants like VICELAND are mentioned. Millennials watch 3 hours more online video daily than those aged 55+. Cinema visits increased in Q1 2017 while radio stations 3FM and BNR lost market share. Instagram saw the largest increase in active users while WhatsApp and Facebook also grew.

The article discusses differences in cash usage and costs across Europe based on reports from the European Central Bank and Riksbanken. It finds that northern European countries like Sweden, Denmark and Norway use significantly less cash than southern and eastern European countries. While cash remains dominant in places like Greece, Romania and Italy, those northern countries have among the highest use of payment cards. The costs of cash payments are also generally higher in northern Europe due to lower usage, while southern/eastern Europe sees lower costs per cash transaction currently. The conclusion is that Europe remains varied in its use and costs of cash versus digital payments.

Worst idea chosen: "+80 years old first date social network" Background: The population in the western world is becoming older and older. In Sweden is one third of all newborns today expected to live to be at least 100 years old. Between 2012-2030 is the population over 80 years expected to grow from 500.000 people to 750.000 people in Sweden (the population is today 9 million). People are also more healthy and women are expected to live longer than men. We also see that the largest increases in Internet usage comes from the seniors. So: we have an older and healthy population, that are relatively well off, that has access to Internet either via PC, TV or mobile devices. So: here comes the "good idea": in order to capture this segment of the dating market, we will launch a website that focuses on 80+ people. It will have easy to read text, possibility of have text read to you with amplification and also certain meeting points that the customers can use to meet for the first time. It will in phase 2 have an application to use with the new senior mobile phones that are being launched.
