This presentation is focused on the subject matter of Economics and Copyright law; it is the author’s participation in the 2014 international workshop, accompanied with a speech and full paper delivered within the scope of the International Conference titled Intellectual and Industrial ‘Property’: Bridging Historical, Philosophical and Policy Concerns.said participation in the workshop focuses on the influence of Information Technology in Copyright’s economics as these economics are understood in Microeconomics, and the influence that said understanding has on Copyright’s fundamental and core notions such as the excludability in the nature of Copyright. It is the speaker’s understanding that eventually Copyright’s economics press for changes in Copyright legislation and question core meanings of traditional Copyright notions such as the nature of property in Copyright law. It is mainly because of economic theories as they apply in Copyright that we need to reconsider the Copyright legal edifice, its undeniable need for existence and its questionable smooth co-existence with technological and societal changes in the Internet networking environment. Economic theory that considers the status quo and trends on the Internet and especially the public good nature that copyrighted works—and all information goods, actually, that become available through the Internet—acquire when they become available online is the cause for ground-breaking reconsideration in the field of Copyright law.

Jadi infrastruktur TI berjalan diatas infrastruktur publik seperti listrik, gedung dll. Dalam infrastruktur TI dapat dilihat tidak hanya terdiri dari perngakta keras tapi juga terdiri dari perangkat lunak seperti OS, aplikasi middleware dan database.
Kecenderungan infrastruktur semakin hari semakin merambat naik. Semakin banyak komponen perangkat lunak yang menjadi dasar bagi komponen perangkat lunak yang lain untuk dapat bekerja. Contohnya adalah library bahasa pemrograman. Template template design (theme) yang dapat digunakan oleh banyak aplikasi.
Bahkan trend sekarang ada yang disebut SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) yang menyediakan dirinya (aplikasi) untuk dapat digunakan secara bersama oleh aplikasi yang lain. Pengertian infrastruktur dalam TI sudah tidak lagi berarti sesuatu yang statik (hardware) tapi sudah menjadi sesuatu yang lebih fleksible (software).

The project sought to provide a paradigm for improving African education systems through the use of the IOT. The created IOT model for Africa will enable African countries, notably Namibia, to exchange educational content and resources with other African countries. The objective behind the IOT paradigm in Africa’s education sectors is to provide open access to knowledge and information. The study revealed that there are no recognised platforms in African education systems that are utilised by African governments to interact, communicate, and share educational material directly with African institutions. It is usual to think about the digital divide as a very concrete aspect of the impact of ICTs, mainly concerning whether there is an existence of infrastructures (sometimes computers, sometimes computers connected to the Internet).
It is usual to think about digital literacy as the ability of someone to switch on a computer and playing some cards game, sending an e-mail and, optimistically, run some word processor and type in a love letter.
It is usual to think about ICTs as something that won’t make disappear the hunger in the world or heal the thousands of people suffering from countless diseases, specially in places where citizens live with less than one dollar a day.
It is usual to think about the digital divide as something that does not affect me, as I live on the sunny side of the world, in a developed country that will last this way for centuries.
With the aim to dismantle all these (almost) false assumptions, the seminar will try and give "correct" definitions for concepts such as Digital Divide, Digital Literacy, eReadiness or eAwareness and show examples on how ICTs can help underdeveloped and developing countries to reach higher quotas of welfare… and how so-called developed countries can exchange places with the lesser developed ones in case they do not pay attention to what is happening in a global world.
