proactively envision and construct a safer and more harmonious Makati
City, integrating emerging technologies, evolving social dynamics, and
sustainable practices while continuously adapting to ensure resilience
and well-being for all residents and stakeholders.

Futures Thinking Team that will ensure that all plans, programs and
activities of the city is in line with thinking the futures of the city.
This Team must be able to anticipate various crisis scenarios and
develop comprehensive response plans to respond to the potential
crisis.

This entails designing constructive, innovative and future ready
programs as to the needs of clients and employees. From the city’s
plans and programs down to barangay level must include futures
thinking and scenario planning.
Also, when it comes to the development of protocols and manuals,
futures and foresight tools and methodologies will be used for research
and policy development.
Include futures thinking activities during conduct of training and
workshops being conducted in the city to equip Makatizens with the
necessary skills in futures thinking and scenario planning to enhance
their capability to anticipate change in complex environments.

identify bottlenecks, traffic flow issues, and high-traffic zones.

• Evaluate the current state of public transportation services in
Makati City, including buses, jeepneys, rideshare and taxis.
• Analyze ridership data, passenger feedback, and operational

1. Work with relevant agencies to create an integrated public transport
system that includes buses, jeepneys, tricycles, and possibly modernized
public utility vehicles.
