A group of future teachers conducted a sample class at De La Salle Lipa University to gain observational experience teaching in real settings. To be an effective teacher requires having patience, compassion, concern for others, and respect while creating an environment conducive to learning. Effective teaching strategies depend on the subject matter and tailoring the approach based on students' abilities and interests while focusing on helping students learn to know, do, live together, and be.
