This document summarizes different types of teaching boards, including traditional chalkboards, which come in black, green, or white, as well as interactive whiteboards. Traditional chalkboards are inexpensive and long-lasting but produce chalk dust. Interactive whiteboards allow teachers to use text and graphics and are reliable but may be more expensive initially. Both traditional and interactive whiteboards have benefits in the classroom environment.
