Punctuation and Jumbled Words, Tenses, Voices, Narration, etc. Spellings,

 Divide the class into groups.
 Assign each group half of the vocabulary words.
 Have students use a dictionary, thesaurus, or the Internet to discover

group.
 See if the groups can figure out what the word is based on its synonyms.

• Divide the class into 2 or 4 groups
• Ask each group member to pick one or two words and do the following:
For example- Anonymous
Synonym- unknown, nameless, incognito
POS: Adjective
Sentence: The donors wish to remain anonymous
Follow-up: One team asks synonym or antonym or meaning to other and
asks to identify the word.
e.g: Identify the word that has an antonym ‘renowned’.

Potluck!
Theme: All the team members have to cook a recipe.
Materials required: Chits on which names of raw ingredients are given.
How to play?
1. Ask every member of the team to pick up a chit
2. Nominate a team leader or captain
3. Now everyone opens their chits and reads the food items given to them.
4. All have to brainstorm and come up with a recipe that can be made from
these ingredients.
5. Team captains will come forward and explain the recipe, telling about each
members ingredient and idea of using that in the recipe.
