The Tata TIGOR is Tata Motor's new sedan that builds on their existing passenger vehicle portfolio. It features an impactful design language and advanced connectivity through an infotainment system. The TIGOR comes with both petrol and diesel engine options, dual path suspension for a comfortable ride and handling, and multiple safety features like dual front airbags. It also has a touchscreen infotainment system with apps for navigation, music, remote control functions, and emergency assistance to enhance connectivity.

1. TIGOR – The first StyleBack
The 1st
‘StyleBack’-Tata TIGOR with its stunning, break-free and revolutionary design is set to build
on the Tata Motors’ existing passenger vehicle portfolio. Denoting the IMPACT design language,
best-in-class driving features and an advanced ConnectNext infotainment system, the car is a clear
and exciting harbinger of future vehicles from Tata Motors, set to disrupt the passenger car market
in India.
Creating an immediate and lasting IMPACT, Tata Motors has
worked intricately on the styling of the TIGOR, the 3rd
vehicle
based on the IMPACT Design philosophy. The product is smartly
designed on the outside with EXpressive, EXciting’, and
EXtraordinary exterior features. Its lively and dynamic stance
exudes the feeling of youthfulness. On the inside, the TIGOR makes ‘INtelligent’ use of space and has
‘INviting’ interiors and connectivity features that will make owners feel ‘INtouch’ with the world
inside and outside
The TIGOR flaunts a dual-coloured bumper with the Tata Signature Grille, which is accentuated with
a striking chrome humanity line at the front, extending into the crystal-like, smoked projector
headlamps to create the face of the car. The dynamic character lines integrate seamlessly with the
signature split LED tail lamps and a stylishly integrated high mounted LED stop lamp, highlight the
length of the car.
The car is intelligently designed with superior legroom and 24 utility spaces to provide ample
storage to carry one’s world along. Furthermore, the interior architecture of the car is exquisitely
designed with a dual-tone cockpit, luxurious patterned seats with bolsters, a premium knitted roof
liner, along with customizable air vents, lending a very upmarket and inviting feel.
The TIGOR will be available in both petrol and diesel variants - Revotron 1.2L (petrol engine) and
Revotorq 1.05L (diesel engine), with class-leading driving dynamics, for today’s young and fast
generation. The Revotron 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine delivers an optimum power of 85ps and a
maximum torque of 114Nm whereas the Revotorq 1.05L diesel engine delivers optimum power of
70ps and a maximum torque of 140Nm. Both engines are available with multi-drive modes – Eco and
City. The Eco mode optimises engine performance for superior fuel economy while the City mode,
which is also the default mode, optimises engine output for the best of both, a peppy driving
experience and efficiency.
Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) is designed for a light steering feel and for easy
maneuvering. The TIGOR features dual path suspension in front and rear for the perfect balance
between a comfortable ride and superior handling.
Equipped with multiple safety features, the TIGOR has dual front airbags for maximum safety in case
of a collision, an energy absorbing body structure, an advance Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Corner Stability Control (CSC) for improved braking
efficiency.

2. Understanding the constantly evolving needs of customers, connectivity forms the core of Tata
Motors’ infotainment experience. The company has worked closely with HARMANTM
to design and
engineer an acoustic audio and infotainment system, certified by the globally renowned Golden Ears
and tuned by seasoned Harman audio experts. The infotainment system comes with a 5”
touchscreen enabled with video playback, voice command recognition, SMS readout and display for
the rear parking assist camera. With 8 high fidelity speakers designed to deliver a true and natural
sound, the TIGOR also has easily accessible steering mounted controls that make driving easy and
convenient.
The TIGOR also comes equipped with a comprehensive app suite with dedicated apps for Navigation
– NaviMaps* sharing music on-the-go, Juke Car App* as well as a smart Bluetooth based remote –
Tata Smart Remote*. The Tata Emergency* Assist app adds to the safety by sharing the co-ordinates
of the vehicle and informing the emergency contacts saved in the system in case of a collision. These
apps add to the connectivity experience and engagement between TIGOR and its occupant’s device.
