2. TV commercial

I like this TV commercial because I like that the
screen is split into two to show the differences and
comparisons between the two visuals being shown.
I like how the advert has made it relatable and it
makes the audience think because they use a
rhetorical question of “Do you” at the end of the
advert. The music chosen also matches the advert
because it’s quite repetitive just like the advert.
From this TV commercial I could use the idea of
having a split screen.
4. Art
This piece is done by Shynola who is a visual artist who
did Coldplay – Strawberry Swing music video. I like the
use of doing art on the floor like she has to create a
scenery. To do this photo I think she has set up the
camera quite high up to capture the photo but also to
make the actor quite small compared to the drawings. I
think the drawings were done in a studio because of the
scenery is clean and clear so doing a music video with
inspiration from this could be quite hard because you
would need quite a big space to film something like this.

Emma Hack
Emma Hack is the artist who did Goyte’s – Somebody I
Used To Know music video. In the music video there is a
background art done by Emma but then it spreads onto
Goyte’s face and body by the use of stop motion
photography. I could use this in my own music video by
having art on peoples faces either bring rewinded to look
like it’s coming off or being forwarded so that the makeup
is coming on.
