Target Audience By Mason Kipping
Target Audience  Target Audience is considered in every part of the film industry. Its considered in the production, distribution and exhibition. This is because you have to think carefully about who would be buying the film and where we would have to promote it and using which techniques. We have to work  out our target audience using demographics, psychographics and lifestyle.
Our film would be aimed at a niche audience (small but very distinct). It would be a very similar Target Audience as Kidulthood, Adulthood, Shank and 1Day.
Demographics Sex:- 16-25 Race:- Any  Sexuality:- Any Class:- C1/C2/D/E Religion:- Any
Psychographics Psychographics is split up into 7 sections: Suceeders, Reformers, Aspirers, Mainstreamers, Strivers, Explorers and Constrained. Our movie will be targeted towards Reformers, Aspirers and Explorers. This is because these groups of people like something new and aren't worried about brands and big names.
Lifestyle This is based on your stage of life. So this our film would be aimed at YAKS (young adventurous keen and single) and DINK (dual income with no kids). This is because these are usually fairly young and have money to spend on leisure's like the cinema or DVDs.
