Target Audience
 Most Thrillers have a target audience of 18+
 The reason is because most thrillers contain a lot of
violence and scenes which younger viewers may find
disturbing.
 Some thrillers like shifty have a rating of 15+ because
they contain some violence but they are suitable for
the younger teen audience.
Our Target Audience
 The target audience we are aiming our film at is
15+ because they are more likely to be interested in
the storyline of our film.
 Our age rating is a 15+ because the film opening
wont have much violence in it or explicit language
however it will have a short clip of a teen age boy
walking with some drugs.
 The main gender we are trying to attract is males
aged 16+ because they will be more interested in a
thriller with chases and drugs.
Other film ratings
 Shifty – 15+
 Pulp fiction 18+
 Heat – 18+
 The Dark knight – 12A

 Terminator 2 – 15
 As you can see these are just some of the different
thrillers and the target audience age rating changes
but the majority is 18+ because of the violence and
language.
