The Tampa Bay Lightning announced the signing of 2018 draft pick Gabriel Fortier to a three-year entry-level contract. Fortier, a left winger playing in the QMJHL, had 14 goals and 42 points in the first 34 games of the season for the Baie-Comeau Drakker at the time of signing. He was selected in the second round, 59th overall, of the 2018 NHL draft after the Lightning traded their first-round pick.
