How is the region of Murcia?   ·The Region of Murcia is an autonomous province in Spanish, located in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula. ·The total population of the Murcia Region is 1,461,979 inhabitants. ·The region is the largest producer of fruits, vegetables and flowersin Europe. ·The traditional agriculture is irrigated.
Most famous municipalities  of region of murcia The Cathedral of Santa Maria, 1 better known as the Cathedral of Murcia. Among its architectural features include the tower, 93 meters tall, the main facade, considered a masterpiece of Spanish baroque. It is mostly Gothic. It consists of three naves with an ambulatoryand twenty chapels. most famous shrines are: Vélez Chapel. Junterón Chapel. Chapel of the Immaculate. Chapel of San Antonio. Chapel of Baptism or of Jerome Grasso. Relief Chapel or St. Anton.
Other famous monuments are :  Museum of Bellas Artes of Murcia  Salzillo Museum   the University of Murcia (UMU)   San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM).

  Festivals Holy Week processions are famous for their images and their quaintness Salzillo unique exponent which are the processions of the Mora and Coloraos.  In the traditional processions of the Nazarenes have an outfit and give away candy huertano, cute and beans to the people who come to the processions.  Spring festivals, parades and concerts and there are rocks huertanas installed in the gardens of the city called 'barracks' in which you can sample the cuisine.  in the spring festivals are reliza:  the Bando of the Huerta  Burial of the Sardine  September Fair.
