Nehemiah saw that the walls of Jerusalem were broken down and its gates burned. He surveyed the walls at night without telling anyone of his plans. He then told the people about the city's distress and proposed rebuilding the walls. The people agreed and strengthened their hands for this important work. Taking initiative requires constant inspiration from sources like God, reading, and thinking as well as self-reliance and courage to undertake new things that need to be done.
This is my Nehemiah 2 Sermon which was shared in B1G South Connect last November 17, 2012. This is part of our Nehemiah series. The title of this message is "Faith Translated in Action".
Name your Jericho - anxiety, fear, negative thinking, lust, anger, impatience or something else. What walls need to come down, what strongholds of sin need to be destroyed? (2 Cor. 10:4-6) List lessons we can learn from Israel at Jericho that help us understand the abundant life of a Christian?
A character study of Nehemiah used as the first segment on the first day of a three day elder training program at the Palm Desert Church of Christ. This was presented October

https://bit.ly/BabeSideDoll4u Babeside is a company that specializes in creating handcrafted reborn dolls. These dolls are designed to be incredibly lifelike, with realistic skin tones and hair, and they have become increasingly popular among collectors and those who use them for therapeutic purposes. At Babeside, we believe that our reborn dolls can provide comfort and healing to anyone who needs it.
The Healing Power of Babeside's Handcrafted Creations
Our reborn dolls are more than just beautiful pieces of art - they can also help alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Studies have shown that holding or cuddling a soft object like a stuffed animal or a reborn doll can release oxytocin, which is often referred to as the "love hormone." This hormone helps us feel calm and relaxed, reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.
In addition to their physical benefits, reborn dolls can also offer emotional support. For many people, having something to care for and nurture can bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Reborn dolls can also serve as a reminder of happy memories or loved ones who have passed away.
Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.
3. v11: So I came to Jerusalem,
and was there three days.
v12: And I arose in the night, I
and some few men with me;
neither told I any man what
my God had put in my heart to
do at Jerusalem: neither was
there any beast with me, save
the beast that I rode upon.
4. v13: And I went out by night by the
gate of the valley, even before the
dragon well, and to the dung port,
and viewed the walls of Jerusalem,
which were broken down, and the
gates thereof were consumed with
fire.
v14: Then I went on to the gate of
the fountain, and to the king's pool:
but there was no place for the beast
that was under me to pass.
5. v15: Then went I up in the night by
the brook, and viewed the wall, and
turned back, and entered by the
gate of the valley, and so returned.
v16: And the rulers knew not
whither I went, or what I did;
neither had I as yet told it to the
Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the
nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the
rest that did the work.
6. v17: Then said I unto them, Ye see the
distress that we are in, how Jerusalem
lieth waste, and the gates thereof are
burned with fire: come, and let us build
up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no
more a reproach.
v18: Then I told them of the hand of my
God which was good upon me; as also
the king's words that he had spoken
unto me. And they said, Let us rise up
and build. So they strengthened their
hands for this good work.
