The Tablas de Daimiel National Park is located in Ciudad Real, Castilla-La Mancha. It is formed by overflowing rivers like the Guadiana and Cigüela, and is one of the most important wetland ecosystems in Spain, supporting a variety of plant and animal life. The park contains reed beds fed by fresh water from the Guadiana River and is home to many waterfowl, mammals like wild boar and otter, and amphibians such as frogs and toads. Fish such as carp and barbo also live in the waters of the national park.
