Funcionamento: A posição da borboleta do afogador é determinada pela temperatura da mola bimetálica. Ela é aquecida pelo líquido de arrefecimento do motor, que passa pela câmara de circulação, e pelo resistor elétrico que está na carcaça intermediária.
A mola bimetálica está atrelada em sua extremidade central na carcaça intermediária e na externa numa alavanca acoplada ao eixo da borboleta do afogador. Ao ser aquecida a mola se expande, carregando consigo esta alavanca, provocando o giro do eixo e, consequentemente, a abertura da borboleta. Naturalmente esta abertura é feita de forma gradual, permitindo uma mudança progressiva da fase fria para a quente.
Este regime de trabalho ocorre quando o acelerador se encontra em posição de repouso e é identificado pelo sinal do interruptor de marcha-lenta.
A Unidade de Comando monitora constantemente a rotação do motor para verificar a ocorrência de algum desvio, queda, do valor nominal pré-estabelecido. Caso o desvio ocorra, como por exemplo ligam-se os faróis, a Unidade de Comando exercerá ação corretiva modificando o "ciclo de trabalho" da válvula corretora. Esta última vai atuar reduzindo a depressão média na câmara posterior e a haste do corretor vai se projetar, abrindo a borboleta do acelerador, o suficiente para manter a rotação nominal de marcha-lenta.
Igualmente, ao desligar os faróis a rotação tende a aumentar; a unidade faz a correção no sentido inverso, mudando o "ciclo do trabalho" de forma a aumentar a depressão média na câmara posterior do corretor e fechar a borboleta, restabelecendo a rotação nominal da marcha-lenta.
Controle da Marcha-Lenta para Veículos com Ar-Condicionado:
Por tratar-se de um consumidor que absorve potência do motor o ar-condicionado recebe tratamento especial da Unidade de Comando. Ela possui conexão elétrica com o circuito da embreagem do compressor o que permite a correção da rotação da marcha-lenta simultaneamente com o acionamento do compressor.
Embora o compressor seja ligado e desligado automaticamente pelo termostato, sua interferência na rotação de marcha é praticamente imperceptível pois a Unidade de Comando faz as correções instantaneamente.
Finalidade: Posicionar a borboleta do acelerador de forma a manter constante e no valor nominal da rotação da marcha-lenta.
Informa a Unidade de Comando quando a borboleta está fechada, sinal de marcha-lenta, através do interruptor de marcha-lenta.
Funcionamento:
- Interruptor de Marcha-Lenta: Quando a borboleta do acelerador retorna à posição de marcha-lenta, o parafuso batente da marcha-lenta encosta na haste e aciona o interruptor, fechando o circuito. Com o circuito fechado a Unidade de Comando é informada que o carburador está trabalhando em regime de marcha-lenta.
- Corretor da Rotação da Marcha-Lenta: A Unidade de Comando através da válvula corretora, posiciona a haste do correto

The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
