• Studentsengage in conversation, provide and obtain
information, express feeling and emotion, and
exchange opinions.
• Students understand and interpret written and spoken
language on a variety of topics.
• Students present information, concepts and ideas to
an audience of listeners or readers on a variety of
topics.

Instructional strategies: A,M, T
• A: show and model what a final announcement,
speech, or poster looks like, analyze the elements, and
teach the required vocabulary and sentence patterns
• M: Discuss why the students choose their own media
for communication, what's the benefit, and how this
reach to the audience. Discuss what is the most
important element for your audience to know, voice,
picture, description, or reward, and how this is related
to the "thing" you want to find....
• T: transfer this learning experience for bake sale,
parties, special events (class poetry reading),
announcements
