This document provides instructions for forming the present tense in French. It explains that the present tense is used to talk about things happening now or generally. It then outlines the 3 steps to conjugate regular verbs in the present tense: 1) Take the infinitive verb, 2) Remove the ending, 3) Add a new ending depending on the subject. It notes that some verbs are irregular and lists examples.
The document appears to be an English language test covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension of a news article. It contains multiple choice questions testing understanding of parts of speech, verb tenses, word stress, synonyms and antonyms of common legal and crime-related terms. The comprehension section provides brief news snippets to be summarized in a single word or phrase based on context. The test covers a range of foundational English skills and knowledge of news and media-related vocabulary.
This unit introduces the present continuous tense (also called the present progressive tense) in English. The present continuous is used to talk about actions or situations that are happening or in progress at the time of speaking. It is formed using the present tense of the verb "to be" (am, is, are) plus the -ing form of the main verb. Some examples of when to use the present continuous are provided, such as to talk about temporary actions in progress or planned future actions. Exercises are then provided to practice forming and using the present continuous tense.
El documento compara las actividades, gustos y hábitos de una persona antes y ahora. Pide completar oraciones en el tiempo pasado describiendo qué se jugaba de niña, qué música se escuchaba en la adolescencia, y qué se hacía en los tiempos libres antes de trabajar. También pregunta qué se comía normalmente antes de mudarse y si se coleccionaba algún objeto antes que ya no. Incluye enlaces a ejercicios sobre el tiempo imperfecto en español.
The document provides information about tests included in a test booklet for the New English File Elementary course. It includes an entry test covering the first four lessons, tests for each file in the course in versions A and B, and an end-of-course test also in versions A and B. It describes the contents and format of the different tests, provides marking guidelines for writing and speaking, and includes sample tests and answer keys.

2. -t of –d?
• Zwakke werkwoorden!
• Vooral lastig bij het voltooid deelwoord:
• Ik heb gewerkt
• We hebben ons goed verzekerd.
3. ‘t kofschip
• ‘t k o f s ch i p
• Waarop eindigt de stam van het werkwoord?
• Een van de medeklinkers uit ‘t kofschip => +t
• Anders => +d
• Werken
• Werken
• gewerkt
6. Nog een stapje verder…
• Engelse werkwoorden die zijn
‘vernederlandst’:
• Coachen -> gecoacht
• Relaxen -> gerelaxt (en dus niet gerelaxed)
7. Ook hiervoor geldt…
• Je doet het vaak automatisch goed.
• Maar bij twijfel: kijk naar de regel (en niet
naar spellingschecker)
• Want weet je nog?
• Gebeverontherover
• Woorden die beginnen met ge, be, her, ont,
her en over schrijf je vaak ook met t.
8. Voorbeeldje
• Hij behandelt – hij heeft behandeld
• Hij verhuist – hij is verhuisd
• Zij herkent hem – zij heeft hem herkend
• Enz…
• Wees gewoon op je hoede bij
gebeverontherover.
