One in three people have experienced cyberbullying, a new and rising form of bullying that is seen as more dangerous than traditional bullying because the bully can target the victim anytime through the internet. Cyberbullying can have serious psychological effects on victims and even lead to suicide, as bullies usually send threatening messages via email and social media. This documentary will explore how cyberbullying affects victims, why and how bullies target people online, how schools and society address cyberbullying, and laws protecting online bullying victims.

1.  There are over 7 billion people in the world, one in three have said
that they have been affected by cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is a
fairly new form of bullying and is on the rise, cyber bullying is seen
as more dangerous than traditional forms of bullying as the bully is
able to target the victim whenever they please, due to the
progression of the internet. Cyber bullying can have many
implications on the victim ranging from psychological problems
which may lead suicide. The bully usually tend to send threatening
messages via email or social network sites, although social media
has many positive aspects cyber bullying is one the main cons that
it tends to encompass. In this documentary I intend to explore how
cyber bullying affects victims, how and why bullies target victims via
cyber bullying, how cyber bullying is being treated within school
and society and laws that protect those who are being bullied
online.
