This document promotes an upcoming talk at SXSW EDU about redefining what a powerful voice sounds like and empowering students and underrepresented groups to speak up confidently. The talk will explore biases and standards around public speaking, and how to dream freely and give full permission to students and oneself to advocate for their ideas and share what is close to their heart. Attendees will gain practical speaking tips and the message that public speaking space belongs to dreamers, rebels, and truth-tellers of all identities.

talk about the voice
biases, old stories, and
crap standards we've all
inherited. And change
the story. Together.
