  1. SWCC is taking the draft Regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) Strategy to the community throughout the South West Region to get comments. This presentation will be given on behalf of SWCC by people throughout the region working with the community in natural resource management and also including SWCC members. A six week period is allowed for the consultation and submissions. Community feedback is important. SWCC needs your views to confirm that the Strategy reflects what the community wants for the future condition of our natural resources. Only after the consultation period and adjustments to the draft will the Strategy be considered for accreditation by the Commonwealth and State governments.
