Svetlana Korytova is a talented volleyball player from Ivanovo, Russia. She showed an early interest in volleyball in school and went on to have an illustrious career, winning numerous championships including Olympic gold in 1988 and World Champion in 1990. She played for the USSR, CIS, and Russian national teams from 1988 to 1993, as well as for the club team Uralochka, with whom she won several Russian and Soviet titles. Korytova has accomplished much in her volleyball career and her hometown of Ivanovo should be proud of her success.
