Suzy Poling will have a two-month residency called "INFINITY STAGE" at Coaxial Arts from July to August. Her residency will include multiple events such as a live taping collaboration, an art installation/performance, two guest art video screenings, an open studio, and a workshop. Poling's vision is to explore the relationship between physical and digital spaces through sound, performance art, sculpture, geometry, light phenomena, animation and video synthesis. The residency is made possible by support from the Mike Kelley Foundation for the Arts and will include five scheduled events at Coaxial Arts in downtown Los Angeles.

Oeuvre of the Incomplete is an exhibition organised by the department of architecture students in the University of Lagos. Curated by Ayẹni Ọlájídé and Ìfẹ́olúwa Ọ̀ṣúnkọ̀yà, the exhibition featured five artists; Yusuf Sanni, Kehinde Balogun, Quadri Sorounke, Philip Fagbeyiro, and Chris Iduma. With visitors from within and outside of the university.

Spoken A virtual gallery project by Eugene Soh and Stephen Black, Spoken features an eclectic range of artists, including Stelarc, Yasumasa Morimura,Vincent Leow, Christophe Charles and Hans Lagner. Spoken refers to the idea that the curators have spoken to all of the artists, a simple but profound starting point. Documentary writing, flash fiction and metafiction are an important part of Spoken. The exhibition is also the location for He in Spoken, a short machinima film now in preproduction.

Roberto Pugliese is a sound and media artist based in Helsinki. His work includes installations, performances, and compositions that combine sound with visuals and audience participation. He uses sound to create alternative relationships between audiences and spaces. His installations digitally process environmental sounds and videos to develop a shared sonic and visual language. He also collaborates with dancers on new media performances that experiment with alternative stages.

The Singapore Night Festival is an annual arts festival held in Singapore celebrating heritage, arts, food, and culture. It features performances and installations by local and international artists held in the arts and heritage precincts of Bras Basah, Bugis, Bencoolen, and the Philatelic and Peranakan Museums. Some highlights over the years include performances by Studio Festi from Italy (2008), Pan.Optikum from Germany (2009), Compagnie Off from France (2010), Mimoid II from France (2011), and Starlight Alchemy, a Singaporean flow arts collective (2015).

Sublime Galleria Presents Performance/Interactive Art at The Collection, UB City
Sublime Galleria showcased performances and interactive art from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology at The Collection in UB City. Several exhibits were featured for one evening only, attracting many art enthusiasts. A major attraction was the 'Tate: Global Art Space' exhibit, which was a collaboration between Indian and international artists. The exhibits included "Dynamic Geometries", "Performing Systems", "Story of Light", and "Sonic Beams". The director of Sublime Galleria praised Srishti School for their innovative art forms and supporting new artists.
UNSW, Intro to Interactive Media Arts 2012, Research
United Visual Artists is an art and design collective based in London that creates interactive installations combining sculpture, architecture, performance, moving images and digital technology. Their installation VOLUME from 2006 consists of 48 sound-emitting columns that respond to audience movement, creating unique experiences. UVA explores spatial and temporal relationships in public spaces and how audiences collectively influence the environment through shared experiences. Their works draw from studies of artists like Rothko and Turrell while hiding advanced technology.

Anthony Bruni is a sculptor and artist based in Chicago who received his Masters in Sculpture from Governors State University and Bachelors degrees in Religious Studies and Natural Resources. He has worked on numerous public art installations and sculptures over the past two decades. Bruni also co-founded Wee Farm Permaculture & Maker's Space in 2013 where he designs installations, teaches workshops, and experiments with new media and techniques.

Toby Fifield is an artist based in San Francisco who creates engaging art that promotes social interaction. His artworks have been exhibited internationally, including in major art museums in Asia, international children's museums, galleries, and universities. He holds a BFA from California College of the Arts and an MA in Education from UC Santa Cruz. His work documents people through experiences traveling in Asia over 10 years and aims to portray interdependence between individuals and their environments through bodily interactions.

Alessandro Carboni is choreographer, performer and researcher whose projects explore the complex relationships between body, map and city. His works are mappings that represent places that reshapes and weaves according to different stages stimulated by specific urban contingencies. The materials and collected data, produced during the long periods of work in selected urban areas, are accumulated in an archive that is transformed into visual works and body performance. Alessandro Carboni’s projects have been displayed, performed and situated in many countries across the world. As a committed teacher, he has been lecturing about his findings at numerous distinguished academic and nonacademic institutions. He holds a PhD in Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong. Based in Sardinia, he is currently working as an independent artist.

The Craft & Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles will present Jonas Becker: The Pile, featuring a multimedia installation by artist Jonas Becker exploring the concept of human desire. The centerpiece is a 13-foot tall mountain made of over 1,000 hand-sewn wool felt talismans, each representing a desire voiced by a participant. Becker collected these desires by asking people what would make their lives better. The exhibition opens on January 25 and runs through May 3, 2015.

Her residency is divided into multiple events which include: a collaborative live taping with Experimental Half-Hour, an elaborate art installation/performance, two guest art video screenings, open studio, and a workshop. Poling’s vision for the residency at Coaxial Arts is to explore the relationship between a tangible/physical space and a digital/synthetic space. During the time of the residency, she intends to continue her explorations with sound, performance art, sculptural relationships, geometry of a room, complex geometric reflective objects, light phenomenon, animation and video synthesis. She researches the multi- dimensional interferences between optics, mirrors, sonic resonance, electrical synthesis, video experiments, human/alien identities and photographic studies of geological anomalies. She is from Michigan, studied at Columbia College in Chicago, lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for almost a decade and now resides in Los Angeles. Visually, her work has been exhibited at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Southern Exposure, Disjecta, Cal Polytechnic University, Cult Exhibitions/Aimee Friberg and Zg Gallery. Her images have been published in The New York Times, Harper’s Magazine, Dazed Digital and a Metropolitan Museum of Art Book.

Poling is a recipient of the Mike Kelley Foundation Grant and was a nominee for the SECA Award at the SFMOMA. Sonically, she has performed at the San Francisco Electronic Music Festival, Colour out of Space, Yerba Beuna Center for the Arts, Berkeley Art Museum, Human Resources, The LAB and Bemis Center for the Contemporary Arts. Coaxial provides artists a studio to use pro-video equipment to realize pieces that otherwise would be out of reach, including use of analog video synthesizers, green screen, and a public exhibition space for live events. Since the organization's inception in March 2015 the foundation has staged over 40 live events, and exhibited the works of over 100 different artists from the foundation’s downtown Los Angeles studio space.
