STABILITY
SUSTAINABILITY
• Absence of excessive
fluctuations (highs and lows)
• Sustainability
is stability
over the
passage
of time.
• The process of maintaining
change in a balanced fashion, in
which the exploitation of resources, the
direction of investments, the orientation
of technological development and
institutional change are all in harmony.
• The strength to stand,
endure, and avoid large swings in
economic activity, high inflation,
excessive volatility in exchange rates
and financial markets.
• Firmness in position, permanence and
resistance to change
• Focuses on resisting change and
maintaining a specific state.
• The state of being steady, stable, or
in equilibrium.
• Enhance both current and future potential
to meet human needs and aspirations.
• Primarily focuses on environmental
systems and their interactions with human
activities.
• The long-term capacities of a
system to exist
• The utilization of resources
without compromising the other or
the future generation
• Interconnectedness
of systems
• Adaptability to
change
• Based on an idea
that there is a
“balanced” state
we can achieve
• Resilience
To attain "Life Below Water," people should minimize plastic
consumption, especially single-use plastics that pose a significant threat to
marine life, and switch to reusable alternatives to prevent them from ending
up in the oceans. Moreover, we must oppose human activities such as
illegal fishing methods, water pollution, and other harmful acts that defy
marine life protection, but rather support organizations and initiatives
focused on ocean research, conservation, and education that can help
advance the understanding and protection of oceanic ecosystems.

What should the people around

A few crucial actions that can help achieve "quality education" include
building safe, non-violent, inclusive, and effective learning environments for
all, including implementing policies and practices that promote safety,
health, and well-being that aid a complacent state and clarity of mind for
better learning. Furthermore, Filipinos must take advantage of the privilege
of studying in public schools and state universities that demand no tuition
fee to attain quality education.
