This document summarizes the results of an environmental survey given to 36 5th and 6th grade students (ages 10-11) at a school in Constantí, Spain. The survey asked questions about recycling habits, energy use, and transportation. Most students were familiar with recycling and reported recycling paper, but fewer recycled other materials like batteries or plastic. While many recycled and conserved energy at school, fewer did so at home. Based on the results, the document recommends educational activities to teach students more about recycling, energy conservation, and renewable energy sources like solar and wind power in order to encourage more environmentally friendly habits.
