Jay walks down the hallway of his high school and notices a strange event outside - a boy sitting on a bench seems to be flickering and waving his transparent hand in front of his face. Jay receives a text message but doesn't check it as his teacher tells him to get to class for being late. He was discussing a gas leak at the school with two friends by their lockers earlier but the cause was unclear.

EXT. MERRIWEATHER COLLEGE - MORNING
A large, plain school building stands in the distance on a
cold, dark winters morning.
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. COLLEGE HALLWAY - LOCKERS - MORNING
Within MerriWeather sixth form college, Jay, Mark and Josh
are stand talking by a row of lockers. Jay is on the far
left standing upright, Mark is in the middle placing
things in and out his locker, and Josh is on the far right
,leaning against the row of lockers and talking.

Jay, a 17 year old boy walks over to two other, similar
looking aged boys standing by a row of lockers.
JOSH
Jay! Where were you yesterday?
Jay
Trying to find you! Do you know what happened?
JOSH
Not really. Something to do with the science block
I think.
Mark pulls a book out of his locker, puts it in his bag,
zips it up, slams the locker door shut and swings one
strap over his shoulder.

PUTS THE OTHER STRAP OVER HIS SHOULDER.
I got to go too. Meet by the bikes?

I feel better now... Yeah.

I don't know why. It's strange.
