Oakland University’s Career Exploration Summer Camps are a unique pre-college experience for
motivated and ambitious high school teens. You’ll be immersed in the fastest-growing career fields
like healthcare, engineering, criminal justice, business, graphic design and more through:

Explore several high-demand healthcare
professions, including nursing, medical
laboratory science, nutrition, exercise science
and physical therapy. Students from the
OU William Beaumont School of Medicine
will also discuss careers in medicine.
ENGINEERING & COMPUTER
SCIENCE CAMP

Participate in hands-on activities and
simulations like constructing a solar panel and
building electronic motors as you learn about
some of the highest-demand careers in

In this introductory-level camp, you’ll work
with Lego Mindstorms and VEX Robots to
compete in a team-based activity against
other teams in the camp. You’ll work alongside
OU faculty and instructors to learn new
concepts and build, adjust and program
your team’s robot.
CAREER EXPLORATION CAMP
August 17 – 21, 2015
St. Clair County Community College
(Port Huron, MI)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: $150
Discover your future as you explore exciting
career options in criminal justice, business,
healthcare, graphic design and communication.
You’ll participate in healthcare simulation
activities, visit a sheriff department, develop
business strategies and much more.
Camp cost includes field trip
transportation, lunch and snacks
– and your camp T-shirt.
*Transportation for this camp is available from the
Anton/Frankel Center. Drop off is 8:15 a.m. and pick up
is 3:45 p.m.
