Een (beeld) verslag van het jaarlijks georganiseerde zomerkamp (2017) door het Dagcentrum gratia in Causeni. Met dank aan de ondersteuning van de Protestantse gemeente in Bergen.
2. It is our pleasure to sent the
Foundation Orhei this pictures of
Summer Camp time at Gratia!
3. We had 2 weeks of fun with children. On both
weeks there would come more then 35
children. On the last day of the second week
there were 63 children that enjoyed Gratia’s
summer camp.
4. For 7-10 your-old campers the personnel of Gratia organized Bible stories that were
accompanied by various games, which stirred a lot of positive emotions and competing spirit.
13. All children ( especially the younger ones)
had to meet unusual guests at the camp,
namely some representatives from the local
police department.
One day in advance the guests asked for
permission to come for 30 minutes to Gratia.
Their purpose was to share some basic
security rules that are helpful to children to
know and apply during the summer vacation.
How to cross the street, with
who to go to the swimming
pool, when and how to use
Facebook, how to relate to
strangers who are
suspiciously too king to you,
etc. It was more a dialog then
a lecture. Both parties were
pleased with the meeting.
Besides, policemen are
ordinary people; they like too
pictures too and to play
games- this is what children
understood at the end.
23. No Summer Camp without rain. The rain
appeared suddenly and spoiled all the
games, but it is just for 30 minutes and
even at the end of the camp day. It was a
cloudy ‘see you tomorrow’ greeting.
The ‘ tomorrow’ came vary soon and all
children were back to their ‘position’.
27. 3 teams. Each team has to follow the
instruction written on small pieces of
paper. Each papers shows new location
of the next hint. “5 steps to the left, then
7 steps towards the garbage container”
The final hint reveals the place where
the treasure is hidden.
30. Here they are. It is 10.00 o’clock. Many of them are looking at
the photo camera but their thought are on the sports fields or
with some other entertaining activities. Restless and full of
energy in the first half of the day!

always a safe
place to
keep,
especially
after running,
jumping
screaming!
39. The personnel of Gratia and
some of their elder children
decide to make the day to the
children a little bit more
colorful by disguising
themselves in flamboyant
outfits, making jokes and
dancing with children.
It was funny!

the Summer Camp during
the 2 weeks had a chance
to receive something for
themselves as gift from
Gratia.
