- #2 International basketball camp in Spanish and English, with coaches and assistants from both Spain and the USA. It is an International Development Basketball Camp for campers aged 14 to 17 who already have experience of playing basketball. The campers will be in an ideal environment in which they will not only be able to reap maximum enjoyment from their stay abroad, but also enjoy the perfect conditions to practise their Spanish and develop their basketball skills under the guidance of Spanish and American coaches and Spanish native teachers. - #3 It is a basketball camp where, with a maximum capacity of 60 participants, campers can expect to receive care and support of a completely personalised nature. Spanish players come from different areas in Spain and International participants come from different countries in Europe, USA and South America. Basketball Camp Location: Alicante, Spain Spanish course: 3 hours per day of Spanish classes with teachers with extensive experience of Spanish teaching. Development Basketball camp: 4 hours per day devoted to basketball: 1-hour lectures, 1.5 hours of training focussing on individual technique, 1.5 hours of group training. Accommodation: Residential Basketball Camp. *** hotel-residence in mini-apartments with swimming pool, gym, TV room, computer lab with internet access, full board… Live-in chaperones. Activities at the basketball Camp: residential participants at the basketball camp join up with the participants of the tennis, sailing, surfing or golf camps to take part in guided sightseeing visits scheduled for the weeks the basketball camp takes place: these include the city of Alicante (Santa Bárbara Castle, Museum of Archeology, Museo Fallero), beach activities and a shopping centre trip. Excursions: weekend activities for participants attending both weeks: Valencia, Terra Mítica theme park...
- #4 International Basketball Camp Spain: Alicante, Valencia region, Spain In the South part of the Valencia Region, Alicante is located 185 Km from Valencia, 60 Km from Elche, 515 Km from Barcelona and 422 Km from Madrid. Alicante offers an eminently Mediterranean land-scape. There are kilometres of coast combined with enormous coastal plains and mountains where you can enjoy the excellent climate all year round. - #5 Residential basketball Camp The residence is located next to the University of Alicante, which also houses the basketball courts. Bus and tram services offer easy access to the centre of Alicante from the residence. Players live in 4-person apartments with 2 twin en-suite rooms and a small common living area containing a small fridge and a microwave. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and internet connection. The residence housing participants in the Spanish and Basketball Camp has been carefully selected and inspected by Zador staff. D Outside of the summer period it is a university residence offering comprehensive, modern facilities.
- #6 International Basketball Camp Spanish language + Basketball Camp ALICANTE SPAIN 2011 Basketball skills development camp for boys and girls aged 14 to 17: 4 hours of basketball per day: themed basketball lectures, individual technique training circuits, workshop focussing on shooting and developing team-play from 3x3 to 5x5. Training sessions and lectures are carried out in Spanish and English. The Camp is aimed at players that have been several years playing basketball, so that they have experience. Regarding the age, we try to have a balance camp, and we form the training groups according to his age and basketball level. The Camp will develop individual techniques (of course, also team techniques) and individual skills, therefore competitiveness and competition are important but not so important than to develop basketball skills.
