Leroy Merlin, a French home improvement retailer founded in 1923, wanted to rebuild their mobile apps to better meet users' needs. They conducted user tests of the existing and new in-development apps through Ferpection to identify strengths, weaknesses, and priority optimizations. Based on the qualitative feedback, Leroy Merlin optimized app performance, solved bugs, simplified navigation, and fluidified filters. These changes improved the app rating from 2.8 to 4.1. Leroy Merlin's mobile lead said the user testing helped ensure the new app's success prior to launch.
