Ernest Shackleton led an expedition to cross Antarctica by ship called the Endurance. However, the ship became trapped in ice forcing the crew to abandon the ship. Shackleton displayed incredible leadership and resilience in getting his crew to safety despite facing tremendous hardships. His positive attitude and prioritizing the well-being of his men helped maintain morale. Though they failed to cross Antarctica, Shackleton safely evacuated all his crew, demonstrating his skills as a leader in crisis.
