Pitjantjatjara (AP) land rights legislation and the capacity of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara against

the establishment of a development process involving employers (900 local governments)
employees (167,000) the unions, local government associations, State Territory and
Commonwealth Governments completed 1994. Major Outcome: National Local Government
Competence Standards established as a foundation for workplace reform. (1990 - 1994) *
Brucellosis and Tuberculosis Eradication Campaign (BTEC). This involved an Industry wide
strategy involving individual primary producers, veterinary professionals, regulatory staff,
industry advisory councils and Ministers of the Crown. Major Outcome: BTEC completed
successfully in Central Australia. (1980-1989)
