INTRODUCTION
 PVC Coated fabric is one of the items of footwear upper material.
 It may come under common footwear upper material group.
 According to industry observers, India’s footwear industry is expected to grow around 18 %
per annum.
 The export of upper material from India was made to as many countries.
 Domestic demand is also increasing day by day. New entrepreneurs vender in to the project
can get very good market.
 These materials are at present being manufactured in places like Delhi, Agra, Bombay,
Madras, and Calcutta etc. But due to the increasing demand of these products all over
the country it can be manufactured anywhere in the country.

 It is produce to 1500000 meters of PVC Coated Fabric.
MARKET DEMAND AND ASPECTS
 The demand of the PVC Coated Fabric is increasing rapidly as shoe users are growing in the
country every day.
 The manufacturers are very much interested to attach the upper material with insole
portion of the shoes.
 As the name indicates the coated fabric are made with PVC compound and upper material
is increasingly popular due to its cheapness and comfort in uses.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
 shows the schematic diagram of PVC coated fabric manufacturing line. The quality of coated
fabric ( physical properties:Tear strength, Vamp flex,Bally flex,Breaking strength, coating
adhesion and Martindale abrasion resistance etc) is dependent on appropriate composition of
the ingredient chemicals. The PVC compound is made up of mixing several constituents. The
proportion of the compounds and the ingredients present in the PVC compound determine the
temperature and time required to coat and cure the sheet.

PRESUMPTION
 The unit will work 25 days a month on a single shift basis of 8 hours duration.
 The scheme is meant to undertake production of Coated fabric only.
 The labour and wages as shown in this project conform to the labour rules of the state
government.
 The interest rate of the term loan is taken as 12% per annum on an average.
 The cost of the machinery and raw materials are given as per prevailing market price at the time
of preparation of the project profile.
