Jake Kirby chose to learn studio engineering because he is interested in recording music. He worked with his project facilitator Jimmy Anderson to set up Jimmy's recording studio, which included setting up eight drum microphones and microphones for guitars and bass. While the project presented challenges with bleeding sounds and mixing, it provided Jake with a valuable learning experience about studio engineering.
