Selina Griffin, a second year EdD student, gave a seminar sharing lessons learned from her first year and tips for not taking things too seriously. She discussed getting a hobby, attending seminars, making space for reflection, not forgetting one's third party supervisor, and not taking everything so seriously. Attendees were invited to share examples and thoughts. Selina plugged her blog and contact details and asked participants to take away the importance of balance through non-academic activities and reflection.
