Students marks prediction

2. Description:-
• The Data consists of student marks and student study hours. This is a backend model it
connects with frontend model which is immediately interact with user to see the result.
• We also used some front end tools to show the predicted marks in server.
Objective:-
1.Understand the Dataset & clean(if required).
2.Build Regression Models to predict the student marks w.r.t study hours.
3.Save the model using joblib library & create a pickle file.

20. We completed one backend model using python, now we built another backend model using Flask
framework.
What is Flask?
Flask is a framework for using web developing applications using python.
Advantages:-
• It is a built in development server and a fast debugger provided.
• Lightweight
• Secure cookies are supported.
• Support for unit testing is built-in

21. Routing in Flask- we used route()
It is used to create fixed URL.That users are
more enjoy and return to a website directly.

It will route to the home page URL, trailing
slash(‘/’) is generally used as a conventions for
the home page
It will route to the index page URL to show

22. After run this program it shows an IP address ,we
can select and paste in search bar in any browser
Then we see the index page
This means our app is running on http://127.0.0.1:5000.
Here 127.0.0.1 is the default IP address.

23. Now we built another model using some objects like request and render_template form Flask Module
in Python .
What is a request object in Flask?
It is used to access all the incoming data in Flask. It holds all incoming data from the request, which
includes the referrer, IP address, raw data, HTTP method and header ,etc.
What is a render_template object in Flask?
It is rendered with specific data to produce a final document. Here we have used templates rendered
HTML which will display in the user’s browser

26. After run this program it shows same IP address,
we can select and paste in search bar in any
browser. Then we see the web page and find out
our result by searching.

27. We can enter the hours between 1 to 24 with out any decimal point then we get the desired prediction marks
result
