it’s a mess whilst there’s a baby there-
implies that it’s not safe for a baby to live in.
Behind the Shoulder shot- walking towards a trailer
home- connotes they don’t
particularly live in a very wealthy environment.
Over the Shoulder shot- Ice Cube writing down lyrics- that’s their
hobby to get them out oftrouble- stereotyped as what society expected in the 80’s.

another side to Compton- a ‘bad side.’

introduce all the

Jump Cuts- snippets of what it was being like in NWA- the good and bad
side about
fame.
Zooms into the face- Ice Cube doing something he shouldn’t be judging by
his face.

5. Mise En Scene
Props- records by the side of him to imply he loves music or is a bug fan of
music.
- Has headphones attached into the record player- to show it’s set in the
80’s.
- Female holding a gun- so it wasn’t only males into crime, females also joined
in.
Facial Expressions- wasn’t surprised so was quite used to it- connotes they grew
up in
a rough environment where everyone expected everyone to have or hold a gun.
Framing- of the manager and the police officer is pretty close- police have more
authority even though the managers earning a lot more.
