This document provides an overview and design concepts for the homepage and internal pages of a website about the Albany Institute of History & Art. The homepage would feature a navigational bar with main themes, a caption and engaging image, and panels linking to each theme. Internal pages for each theme would include a description paragraph, interactive map displaying key locations and descriptions that can be viewed in a larger popup window, and pagination navigation. The map would allow zooming and panning and feature icons representing specific events.

4. MAP WINDOW
Since the majority of the content will be displayed on an interactive map the user will be able to
view it in a larger window that pops up when they click on the map’s initial screen
The map will feature icons that represent a specific event in the story
User will be able to zoom, pan, and navigate on the map
Will be color-coded and a directed graph will be displayed on top to display relationships
Might also incorporate a timeline feature
Might also include an image gallery
