The document discusses how nations that transitioned away from fossil fuels reaped economic benefits:
- Sweden enacted a carbon tax in 1991, closed nuclear reactors, and still reduced emissions while economic growth tripled compared to the US. Thousands of green entrepreneurs emerged.
- Brazil decarbonized over a decade and is now experiencing its strongest economic boom. Nearby Costa Rica, also phasing out carbon, is the wealthiest Central American economy.
- Iceland was heavily dependent on imported fossil fuels in the 1970s but is now 100% renewable through geothermal and hydropower. It is the 4th most affluent nation and a top energy exporter.
The Philippines has great potential from solar, hydro

Jack Coleman of EnergyNorthAmerica, LLC recently gave the American Keynote Speech at the 2010 Ordos International Forum on Clean Energy and the Green Economy, held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. Details the importance that fossil fuels will continue to play in the world's energy future, and the importance of making them clean.
Electricity is the life blood of Economic development of any country. The success of any country is only possible with the availability of it. The people of Afghanistan desperately need it for their socio economic development. All major polls show that Afghans wants electricity more than anything else.
The decades of war have left the country's infrastructure unfortunately spifflicated as well as the power grid badly damaged so it becomes more difficult to get electricity out there fast by using conventional cheap electricity generation methods.
The provision of renewable energy power plants to Afghan villages is a feasible speedy solution which can provide the electricity in few days with no fuel cost. Sustainable energy can be provided and the dream comes true.
Energy can be provided by the burning fossil fuel but the main drawback associated with it is the unfortunate security issues in the country. So for time being production of energy from renewable such as solar, wind, bio gas seems only the feasible solution.
Firstly, an on grid provision of electricity may be established for Afghans further it may be extended to off grid solution with step by step installation at selected vicinity on the basis of good maintenance of current grid system.
Manufacturing and exporting natural resources were Australia’s major industries in from 1913 till after WWII. The Australian economy has boomed and had downturns in the past. Currently the economy is only growing at 3.7% per year, inflation has risen to 4.3% and home loans are at the highest in 22 years. In the future fuel prices may increase, economic growth may decrease and climate changes likely create major economic problems.

This was a college level presentation where we were asked to present a solution for Global Warming. I had very mixed feelings on the assignment and the solution, but I bet that doesn't come across in my presentation. ;)
The Golden Rule of ethics must re-balance our economy. At present, those with the gold make the rules. “Any economic system should serve people, not the other way around” (Pope Francis).
According to economist Thomas Piketty’s recent “Inequality of Capital,” the top income earners now have 60% of our national income. From 1942 to 1980, however, the same high income people had only 34%. I will show what happened after 1980 to bring about our present income inequality. It has contributed to the unexpected political success of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.

Pharmaceutical system – an example of systemic sinArnulfo Laniba
The Churches are up to teaching about personal sin committed by individuals. But kept from the people is the definition of systemic sin or gang crime committed by a hierarchy or organization, who has managed to appear as legal or harmless but in reality is a wolf in sheep's clothing. The Pharmaceutical industry is a classic example.
If You Base Medicine on Science, It Kills PeopleArnulfo Laniba
This presentation shows that medicine, in order to be life-restoring and effective, must be off-science, meaning: not based on present system of science, e.g., chemistry which is opposing God's natural way and hampering God's system .of prevention and cure

Stop gasoline right away who says we can't do without fossul fuel
1. Abolish Wrong Economic Practices Slowly or
Right Away?
“200 hundred years ago, British Parliament heard from advocates
of slavery that to abolish it right away would entail financial
apocalypse because slavery represented ¼ of Britain’s GDP and
provided its primary source of cheap, abundant energy.
The debate lasted roughly a year, and Parliament, in the end, made
the moral choice, abolishing slave trade outright.
Result: Britain’s economy accelerated. Slavery’s abolition exposed
the debilitating inefficiency (losses) associated with zero-cost
labor…Creativity and productivity surged. Entrepreneurs seeking
new sources of energy launched the industrial revolution and
inaugurated an era of the greatest wealth production in human
history. It may be the same with the abolition of gasoline or fossil
fuel.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
in “The Green Collar Economy” by Van Jones
2. Nations that stopped using fossil fuel
(gasoline) reaped immediate rewards
“Sweden announced in 2006 the phaseout of all fossil fuels
(and nuclear energy) by 2020. In 1991 the Swedes enacted
a carbon tax (now up to $150 a ton), closed two nuclear
reactors, and still dropped greenhouse-gas emissions to
five tons per person, compared to the US rate of twenty
tons. Thousands of entrepreneurs rushed to develop new
ways of generating energy from sun, wind, and tides and
from wood chips, agricultural waste, and garbage. Growth
rate climbed to upwards of three times those of the United
States. The heavily taxed Swedish economy is now the
world’s 8th richest by GDP.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
in “The Green Collar Economy” by Van Jones
3. Nations that stopped using fossil fuel
(gasoline) reaped immediate rewards
“Brazil, which decarboned (that is, stopped
using fossil fuel) its energy over the past decade,
is now experiencing the most sustained economic
boom in its history. Costa Rica, which is phasing
out carbon, is Central America’s wealthiest
economy. It should come as no surprise that
California, America’s most energy-efficient state,
also possesses its strongest economy.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
in “The Green Collar Economy” by Van Jones
4. ICELAND – from poorest to 4th richest!
Nations that stopped using fossil fuel (gasoline) reaped immediate rewards
“Iceland was 80% dependent on imported coal and oil in the 1970s, its
economy among the poorest in Europe. Today, Iceland is 100% energy-
independent, with 90% of the nation’s homes heated by geothermal and its
remaining electrical needs met by hydro.
“The International Monetary Fund now ranks Iceland the 4th most affluent
nation on Earth.
“Geothermal and hydro produce so much cheap power that Iceland has
become one of the world’s top energy exporters. (Iceland exports its surplus
energy in the form of smelted aluminum.)
“The country which previously had to beg for corporate investment, now has
companies lined up to relocated there to take advantage of its low-cost clean
energy.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
in “The Green Collar Economy” by Van Jones
5. Philippines, the next!
Richest in potential solar power energy being located in the equator.
•Richest in hydro (tides) power being an archipelago surrounded by oceans.
•The Philippines may also utilize its abundant wind power from both forests and oceans.
•And what makes her unique: the abundant, inexhaustible supply of deuterium (which can easily
replace the role of fossil fuel as the energy of the entire world) beneath the Pacific Ocean, near
Surigao. Deuterium, a form of water, is clean energy, more efficient power for all types of machines
and vehicles, in land, water, air, etc.
What we need is the people’s decision to STOP electing candidates whose platforms are: waiting
shades, basketball courts, 3-month employment in the capitol or municipal offices, and P250 every
eve of election day.
Young boys and girls, this is how low-moral your parents are and (sorry to be the first to say this)
how they play as whores (prostitutes) when they accept votemoney from fake pretending leaders,
sacrificing your brighter future. No one can bribe if no one will accept the bribes. It takes two to
tango, as the saying goes. Let us stop pointing the finger to the politicians; our parents are in
connivance. But do not continue blaming your congressman and your parents. Proceed to raising
your standard of platforms for candidates for president, Senate or Congress. Go for deuterium, solar
power and the likes that can generate high paying and lasting jobs and businesses here in our own
home country, and phaseout the dangerous form of employment, OFWism!
Do not elect the candidates whose platforms are covered courts or waiting shades…or a 15-day
work in the municipio or send you to Saudi Arabia or (sorry to say this again) who passed allegedly a
bill to Congress to make “adobo” (fried meat) a national delicacy in times when the people are
suffering from the devastating Bohol quake and Yolanda super typhoon. This is not meant to destroy
a fellow man’s reputation, but to wake us up of how low our moral standards are! And how callous
our leaders are!!
We accept P150 votemoney (bribe) every 3 years to keep their candidates winning and into office,
them who oppose solar power and deuterium et al…Oh, how low is our standard!!
