8. Volunteers on Auditorium Doors
When a delegate enters the auditorium, your role is to
check that they have a lanyard and are eligible to attend
the conference.
Colour Code of Lanyards:
• Green: Member of Conference Committee
• Red: Member of Federation Management Board
• Yellow: First time Conference Attendees
• Blue: All other Delegates

Colour Code of Spots on Conference Passes:
Yellow: Delegate requiring extra assistance for mobility,
hearing or visual problems
Red: Person accompanying a delegate with extra
assistance needs
Green: Guests
Anyone without a lanyard/pass must politely be
refused entry and referred to the Registration Desk

10. Delegates requiring Extra Assistance
• Seating areas for Extra Assistance Delegates are marked on the
Seating Plan.
• There are 2 lifts in the WMC and Wheelchairs can be hired.
There are Toilets for the Disabled on all floors
• Members with Hearing Impairment should collect a Hearing Pack
from the Cloakroom on arrival. Alternatively they can use their
Hearing Aids.
• Coffee and Lunches for Extra Assistance Delegates will be
served at one end of the Penderyn Awen Foyer on Level 2
• All members who noted Extra Assistance on their Registration
Forms have been contacted.

11. Catering at the WMC
• Coffee and Packed Lunches will be served in the
Penderyn Awen Foyer (level 2) and the Horizons Foyer
(level 4)
• President Ann’s Reception and Lunches for VIPs and the
FMB will be served in the Preseli Room (level 2)
• There are several other catering facilities on the ground
floor (Ffresh Bar and Restaurant and two Coffee Shops)

12. Exhibition
• The Exhibition area is in the Weston Suite on Level 1.
• There will be some additional stands on Level 1 near to
the Weston Suite.
• The Exhibition will be open throughout the conference
and stewards will be present during all of the breaks.
There will be extended time for visiting the Exhibition
after the close of Friday afternoon’s session.
• The Exhibition will close at 14.00 on Saturday.

13. Additional Information
• Conference Website – Please visit the website regularly for
any new information - Cardiff Website
• In case of any emergency the WMC staff will take over.
Stewards should ask a member of staff to radio the front
desk or, if a phone is nearby, ring 4700 for assistance
• For security reasons delegates will not be able to take
bags larger than a briefcase into the Auditorium. A
cloakroom is available in the Foyer.
